South Seas® has been the tanning partner of ABC's Dancing with the Stars™ for 24 consecutive seasons. Island Glow Body Bronzer was developed specifically for the show, creating a luminous, transfer-resistant finish designed to help keep costumes looking clean. Tahitian Tan Mist and Sea Foam Mousse are also featured among the South Seas tanning essentials used for the tour.
Can I recreate the DWTS glow at home?
Yes! The featured South Seas retail products make it easy to bring the signature ballroom glow home. Choose Tahitian Tan Mist or Sea Foam Mousse for developed self-tanning color, or Island Glow Body Bronzer for an immediate, luminous finish.
How long does a South Seas tan last?
A South Seas self tan typically lasts about 7 days with proper application and care. To help keep your glow looking fresh, moisturize daily with Monoi de Tahiti Body Lotion and apply Tahitian Tan Extender every few days. Avoid harsh exfoliation and gently pat skin dry after showering. Reapply every 7 days, or as needed, to maintain your desired level of color.
Can I use South Seas products if I have sensitive skin?
Our formulas are designed for all skin types. However, skin sensitivities vary, so we recommend reviewing the complete ingredient list and performing a small patch test before full application. If you have a known allergy or skin condition, consult your healthcare professional before use.
